Project in Ainsdale

Picture
This project involved a major redevelopment of the property, giving the entire house a complete facelift along with a full internal reconfiguration.

The existing roof was removed and a new floor was created within the loft, forming spacious new bedrooms and a bathroom. The staircase was relocated to create a more open and welcoming hallway, improving the flow of the home.

In addition, two extensions were constructed to give the property a more balanced and uniform shape, significantly increasing both living space and overall functionality.

Below are a selection of photographs taken throughout the project, showing the development at various stages.

Ainsdale project

Another development in the Ainsdale area completed in 2025.
Before and after
During this project, we constructed a large rear extension, significantly increasing the living space of the property. As part of the work, the internal layout was opened up to create a bright, open-plan living area, improving both flow and functionality.

A customer approached us for help after getting stuck with the design of their kitchen garden. To support them, we introduced them to our architects at 3D Design, who produced this beautiful and well-considered design.

The next challenge was to bring the design to life and deliver exactly what the customer wanted — an authentic build that looked as though it had always been part of the property.

Bob took the lead on sourcing the materials, carefully selecting handmade bricks and a reclaimed slate roof to achieve a truly traditional appearance. At the same time, Chris worked closely with the team on site to begin construction, combining modern building methods to ensure excellent insulation and performance, while retaining the character and charm of high-quality reclaimed materials.

The result is a building that blends seamlessly with the existing property, offering the best of both worlds — traditional craftsmanship with modern standards of comfort and efficiency.

Below are a selection of photographs taken throughout the build, showing the project from start to finish.

We were contacted by a couple who needed help after being left in a difficult situation by an unreliable builder who had carried out some initial groundworks before abandoning the project.

We stepped in to put things right, carefully assessing the site and taking over the work. The project was successfully turned around with the construction of a side extension, which effectively doubled the size of the property and provided the additional space the homeowners had originally planned.

Following the successful completion of the extension, the clients later asked us to return to re-roof the remainder of the house, further improving and protecting the property.

This project highlights our commitment to reliable workmanship, honest service, and seeing jobs through to completion — especially when clients need a trusted builder to step in and help.
